On June 18th and 29th 2003, our Hombu Dojo was filled with movie cameras, lightings and a whole lot of equipment. It was one of the location for the new series "Yi Qing Wei Liao" starring Michelle Chong and Christopher Lee.

It was a hive of activity with camera crew, make-up artists and lightning technicians making sure that everything works. It took a while to set up all the equipment and ensure the proper lighting.

Philip Sensei, Instructor Tey Guan Kiat and Instructor Felix Tan assisted Michelle Chong and Christopher Lee in the choreographing and practicing of techniques required for the script. It took quite a bit of effort to get the moves right but the actors gamely rehearsed repeatedly until they got it right.

Philip Sensei had a part in the series playing the role of (what else?) Sensei. This TV series was aired in September 2003.
