Aikido Shinju-kai was invited by the Malaysia Aikido Association to participate in an Aikido seminar instructed by Sugano Shihan (8th Dan) in Kuala Lumpur. The seminar was held on the 22nd and ended on the 25th of January, 1999.

All members, together with Shihan Sugano and George Lo Sensei from Australia Aikikai travelled by chartered bus to Kuala Lumpur on 20th Jan 99 and back to Singapore on 25th Jan 99.
