Yoshimitsu Yamada Shihan (8th dan) of New York Aikikai visited Aikido Shinju-kai Singapore from the 2nd to the 4th of June 2002. While Singapore, Shihan conducted a two-day seminar on the 2nd and 3rd of June for all grades.








The flamboyant and easy-going Shihan impressed the students with his skill, personality and how he made all the techniques look so easy.

A reception dinner was held at a Chinese restaurant, where we had the rare occasion of listening to Yamada Shihani sing to the karaoke. All of us who were present were treated to Yamada Sensei's sharing of his knowledge and experiences. We hope to see him again in the near future.
