Tony Smibert Sensei (6th dan) (Vice Chairman of IAF, Vice President of Aikikai Australia) visited Singapore on the 29th-31th of May 2000.

Tony Sensei took a class on Tuesday the 30th of May at the Bishan East CC, 7:30-9:30 pm, which attracted an attendance of over 150 students from all over Shinjukai. The class covered basic hand and weapon techniques, which was very enjoyable to the whole range of junior to senior grades in the class.

He would also be taking the Gurkha Contingent class on Wednesday the 31st of May.

We would like to thank Tony Smibert Sensei for his visit. We enjoyed his classes and company tremendously, and hope that he would come back and visit us again in the future.
