One
of our favourite shihans popped into town for his yearly
visit in September.
The crystal-loving sword-wielding sensei took classes in
all our dojos during his three-week stay in Singapore.
He also conducted a two full-day seminar on weapon techniques
specially for the senior students. The 63-year-old die-hard
constantly impressed us with his seemingly inexhaustible
energy, pressing on while the rest of us were dropping like
dead flies from the rigourous training.
Yamada Sensei also joined us for the Malaysian
30th Anniversary Trip. He was also invited as a guest
instructor for the Malaysian Aikido Association.
