Brief Description
The SMU Aikido Club was founded in September 2002 with a humble beginning of 20 members. This is one dojo that actually has more women than men training. Being a co-circular activity in SMU, the current members are all students of SMU.
Weapon training classes are conducted at the end of every month.
It is the hope of the current batch of trainees that they would be able to infuse the teachings of Aikido to the SMU population and membership will continue as SMU Aikido Alumni after graduation. For more information about the club, click here.
Facilities
Held in rustic Bukit Timah Road, the dojo is fully air conditioned and equipped with 40 thick mats for safe training. There are also changing rooms and showers to feel fresh after a session of Aikido.
