Location/ How to Get There
Located just at the fringe of Orchard Road, just across the road from Raffles Girls' Secondary School, the Pines is accessible by bus services 605, 105, 132 and 190.
Brief Description
Originally named Pinetree Club, this dojo was set up in June 1996. The first class consisted of 14 adults from different professions (doctor, lawyer, accountant, architect, director and executives). On January 2003, there was a change of management within the club and it's name was changed from The Pinetree Club to The Pines
Facilities
The Pines dojo is only open to members and guests. As one would expect from a private club, it is very well equipped in terms of shower, locker, and changing room facility. Training is conducted in an air-conditioned room converted out of two squash courts. The club also has many other facilities such as swimming pool, function rooms, sports club, etc.
