Location/ How to Get There
Situated at the junction of Pasir Ris Drive 4 & Drive 1. Take the MRT to Pasir Ris and board bus number 17, alighting at Block 216 on Drive 4. Bus 358 also stops at this block. Other buses that go to the CC and stop on Drive 1 are 12, 21 and 518 (at Block 442) and 81 and 53 (at Block 104).
Brief Description
The dojo was opened on the 27 March 2002, with around 20 new students of a variety of ages and a pretty even mix of males and females. Membership has grown since to around 45 students. The children's class has also grown tremendously and presently stands at nearly 30 students.
Many senior students from other dojos attend regularly and give their time to help out at this dojo. There's a very friendly atmosphere with everyone doing their bit to make the dojo a success.
Be warned, this dojo has none of the niceties of some other dojos such as fans (we're working on that) or aircons so it can sometimes be a bit hot - but don't let that put you off.
Facilities
Lessons take place on the 5th floor, MultiPurpose Hall 2.
There is a coffee shop (open till 10 pm) and a 24 hour Cheers convenience store on the ground floor of the CC.The CC adjoins the Pasir Ris Central Police Station.
